Cooperation Program with International Schools

  1. MOU with Phuket Vocational College, Thailand (10/05/2022)

  • Both parties will implement activities based on mutual respect for each other's independence and mutual benefit, including: Student exchange, exchange of teaching and administrative staff, exchange of academic materials, published publications and information, cooperation in organizing joint lectures, scientific research, thematic workshops, and joint projects.

  • Principles of implementing the exchange program

  • Selection and quantity: Both schools will accept selected students and staff. The specific number will be agreed upon and decided by both parties.

  • Accommodation: Each school is responsible for arranging accommodation in the school's dormitory or equivalent forms for the exchange personnel/students from the other party.

  • Coordinator: Each party will appoint a suitable coordinator to maintain close communication, lead the program to success, and handle emergencies if any arise.

  1. Quang Tay Normal University, China (22/08/2022)

  • Receiving students: Party A agrees to receive students sent by Party B to study Chinese language courses for one academic year (including 2 semesters, from 36 - 40 credits).

  • Direct implementing units: International Culture Education Institute (Party A) and Chinese Language Department (Party B).

  • Recognition of results: Both parties recognize the credits for the courses that students have completed. After the course ends, Party A will issue a transcript and a certificate of course completion for the students.

  1. MOU with Universitas Muhammadiyah Gresik (UMG), Indonesia (28/10/2022)

  • Both parties will implement activities based on mutual respect for each other's independence and mutual benefit, including:

  • Student exchange.

  • Exchange of teaching staff (academic) and administrative staff.

  • Exchange of academic materials, publications, and scientific information.

  • Cooperation in organizing joint lectures, research, thematic workshops, and projects.

  1. Youngstown State University, USA (20/02/2023)

  • Both parties agree to promote academic and scientific cooperation and implement study abroad programs, student exchanges, and staff exchanges through activities:

  • Exchange of lecturers and researchers.

  • Implementing student mobility programs.

  • Developing summer or winter camp programs.

  • Applying preferential scholarship levels for partners.

  • Cooperation in research projects and developing joint training programs.

  • Exchange of staff / Lecturers

  • Duration: Short-term visits for teaching, research, or management tasks usually last from 1 to 4 weeks (may be longer if there is a separate agreement).

  • Costs: The sending school (home institution) will continue to pay full salary for the staff and be responsible for travel expenses (airfare). Accommodation and living expenses in the host country will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.

  • Support: The host school will approve the program, arrange workspace, grant access to library/utilities, and assist in finding accommodation.

  • Visiting Student Program

  • Quantity: YSU agrees to accept a maximum of 10 students from PXU each year to study at the English Language Institute for up to 12 months under the J1 visa.

  • Conditions: Students should have completed at least 1 year of study at PXU and meet the English proficiency requirement through the Duolingo English Test (DET) with scores ranging from 70 - 85 depending on the level of study or to participate in specialized courses for credit accumulation.

  • Main cooperation objectives

  • Educational partnership cooperation: Establishing a partnership that demonstrates both schools' commitment to international education for students.

  • Providing American programs and curricula: Allowing PXU to establish academic links to offer courses designed in collaboration with KU; PXU has full access to KU's content and curriculum in Vietnam.

  • Granting American degrees and credits: Upon approval from the SACSCOC accrediting organization, KU will jointly provide undergraduate academic courses from the United States at Thua Thien Hue province and other provinces in Vietnam where PXU's facilities are licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

  • Teaching: PXU will provide teaching services, specifically American undergraduate courses, under KU's programs.

  1. B.H.M.S School, Switzerland (20/11/2024)

  • General objective: To promote, develop, and enhance cooperation in academic, cultural, and research fields between both parties on the basis of equality and mutual benefit.

  • Specific areas of cooperation

  • Staff exchange: Facilitating the exchange of students and lecturers to promote understanding between cultures.

  • Scientific research: Promoting joint research projects in areas of mutual interest, encouraging participation from both faculty and students.

  • Information exchange: Sharing information related to developments in teaching, student development, and research institutes.

  • Credit transfer: Discussing the feasibility of credit transfer programs or training linkage agreements in relevant fields of study.

  • Event organization: Coordinating to organize academic conferences, thematic workshops, and other intellectual forums to exchange knowledge.
