PHU XUAN UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS 2026 - 2027
Phu Xuan University allocates 5 billion VND to its admissions scholarship fund every year.
What sets PXU scholarships apart is that they continue throughout the programme. Students who maintain the required academic results keep receiving their scholarship in later years, rather than receiving a one-time award at enrolment.
The University offers 13 scholarship programmes covering a wide range of candidates: academic achievement, class leadership roles, family circumstances, chosen major, and groups of friends enrolling together. The highest award covers 100% of tuition.
Each student receives one scholarship, the highest-value award they qualify for. Scholarships cannot be combined.

1. Merit Scholarship, 100% tuition waiver
Information Technology, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering Technology. 100 awards.
Eligibility: National Excellent Student prize (Consolation or above), Provincial Excellent Student prize (Third or above), or an admission combination score of 28 or above (exam or academic transcript).
First-year tuition: Paid as normal, fully reimbursed upon progressing to year two.
Renewal in years 2 and 3: Good standing (Khá) in the preceding semester with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Students who fall below this pause for one semester and resume once they reach 2.5 again.
2. Merit Scholarship, 100% tuition waiver, all other majors
25 awards, 5 per major.
Eligibility: National Excellent Student prize (Consolation or above), Provincial Excellent Student prize (Third or above), or a transcript or National High School Graduation Exam score of 28 or above by admission combination.
First-year tuition (*)
Renewal in years 2 and 3: Very Good standing (Giỏi) in the preceding semester with a GPA of 3.2 or above.
3. Scholarship for PXU staff, lecturers and their families
Up to 90% tuition reduction, based on position and years of service.
90% reduction: Management staff with 3 or more years of service, lecturers and staff with 9 or more years of service.
70% reduction: Management staff with 1 to under 3 years, lecturers and staff with 3 to under 9 years.
60% reduction: Lecturers and staff with 1 to under 3 years.
50% reduction: Management staff, employees and lecturers on a formal contract of under 1 year. Children of staff and lecturers.
30% reduction: Siblings of staff, former staff, alumni, and children of former staff.

4. Merit Scholarship, 70% tuition waiver
Information Technology, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering Technology. 50 awards.
Eligibility: National High School Graduation Exam score from 26 to under 28 by admission combination (*)
First-year tuition: Paid as normal, reimbursed upon progressing to year two.
Renewal in years 2 and 3: Good standing (Khá) in the preceding semester with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
5. Merit Scholarship, 50% tuition waiver
Information Technology, Business Administration, Automotive Engineering Technology. 50 awards.
Eligibility: National High School Graduation Exam score from 24 to under 26 by admission combination (*)
First-year tuition: Paid as normal, reimbursed upon progressing to year two.
Renewal in years 2 and 3: Good standing (Khá) in the preceding semester with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
6. Financial Hardship Scholarship
50% tuition waiver for the full programme. 25 awards.
Eligibility: Documented family hardship, poor or near-poor household status, or orphaned students, confirmed by local authorities (*)
Renewal in years 2 and 3: Good standing (Khá) in the preceding semester with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
7. Merit Scholarship for late enrolment
50% tuition waiver for the full programme. Number of awards subject to approval (*)
Eligibility: Candidates enrolling late who meet the Merit Scholarship criteria (*)
Renewal: GPA of 3.2 or above in the preceding semester.
8. Scholarship for Buddhist Monks and Nuns
20% tuition waiver for the full programme. 10 awards.
Eligibility: Monks and nuns residing at pagodas who meet the University's admission requirements.
9. Young Leader Scholarship
From 12,000,000 VND per award (*). 200 awards.
Eligibility: Class Youth Union Secretary or Class Monitor.
10. Women in Technology Scholarship
12,000,000 VND per award. 50 awards.
Eligibility: Female students enrolling in Industrial Management, Automotive Engineering Technology, or Information Technology.
11. Pioneer Scholarship
First choice: 10,000,000 VND per award, 350 awards.
Second choice: 9,000,000 VND per award, 50 awards.
Eligibility: Candidates who register their preference and enrol at the University in 2026.
12. Companion Scholarship
8,000,000 VND per award. 30 awards.
Eligibility: Students transferring from vocational school, college or university. Independent candidates who graduated in 2025 or earlier.
13. Friends Group Scholarship
Group of 2: 5% tuition reduction in years 2 and 3.
Group of 3: 10% tuition reduction in years 2 and 3.
