Workshop “Discovering Personal Values” Helps PXU Students Career Orientation from a Business Perspective

In order to support students in enhancing their awareness of personal capabilities, career orientation, and preparing for their journey before entering the labor market, the Student Union of Phu Xuan University recently collaborated with FPT Telecom to organize the workshop “Discovering Personal Values” with the participation of a large number of students from the university.
The program featured experienced experts from FPT Telecom, including Mr. Le Nguyen Thanh Danh – Head of the Technical Department of the Hue Branch and Mr. Nguyen Tri Thien – Recruitment Manager for the Central Region. Through practical insights from the business environment, students had the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of their capabilities, strengths, and the current labor market requirements.

At the workshop, speakers discussed many practical topics related to the recruitment standards of businesses, essential skills for students in the digital age, and current recruitment trends. Additionally, students were guided on how to build a personal development roadmap, shape career goals, and enhance their competitiveness while still in school.
Notably, the program created an open interactive space between students and experts, encouraging them to confidently discuss career orientation, internship opportunities, job prospects, and the skills needed to meet business requirements after graduation.
As a strategic partner accompanying the university for many years, FPT Telecom not only supports training and career orientation activities but also facilitates PXU students' access to internship programs, practical experiences, and job opportunities that align with their training specialties.

Through the workshop “Discovering Personal Values,” PXU students gained further opportunities to understand their own capabilities, build personal development plans, and better prepare for their future career journeys. This is also one of the practical activities aimed at enhancing the connection between the university, students, and businesses, contributing to improving the quality of training in line with the actual needs of the labor market.
