Phu Xuan University co-organizes the seminar “The Art of Leadership through Empathy and Transformation”
Phu Xuan University collaborates with EdulightenUp to organize a seminar on the art of leadership, connecting educational managers and spreading innovative thinking for the sustainable development of education in Vietnam.
On the afternoon of July 4, 2026, Phu Xuan University (PXU) in collaboration with EdulightenUp organized the seminar “The Art of Leadership through Empathy and Transformation”, creating a forum to connect managers, experts, and the education community to discuss leadership trends in the context of rapidly changing education.
The program was attended by Dr. Nguyen Tan – Director of the Department of Education and Training of Hue City, representatives from the leadership of Phu Xuan University, experts from EdulightenUp, along with more than 20 principals, many vice principals, and educational managers from schools in Hue City.
Forum for Sharing Management Experience and Educational Innovation
In the context of the education sector continuously evolving, leadership capacity, innovative thinking, and empathy are considered important factors that help educational institutions build a positive learning environment and sustainable development.
At the seminar, experts shared many practical perspectives on the art of leadership, building school culture, developing teams, and enhancing educational quality. Additionally, many exemplary models such as happy schools, foreign language competency development, education of life values, and community awareness building were introduced as evidence of effective innovation processes centered on people.
Empathy and Transformation – Two Core Values of Educational Leaders
One of the highlights of the program was the message about the two core values “empathy” and “transformation” in educational management.
Speakers emphasized that empathy helps leaders listen, understand, and motivate their teams with sincerity, while transformation requires innovative thinking, strategic vision, and determination to create new values for the school.
Educational innovation does not only come from major changes but also starts from simple actions such as recognition, encouragement, care, and building a humane working environment, where every staff member and teacher is supported and inspired.
