PXU students and lecturers participate in the ASEAN Youth Exchange Program in Guizhou, China
The PXU delegation, consisting of students and lecturers, attended the ASEAN Youth Exchange Program in Guizhou, China, experiencing culture, international exchange, and strengthening connections with youth from ASEAN countries.
More than 10 students and lecturers from Phu Xuan University (PXU) officially participated in the ASEAN Youth Exchange Program in Guizhou Province (China), marking the beginning of a journey of learning, cultural exchange, and international connection with youth from the region.
Attending the opening ceremony and interacting with ASEAN youth
On the first day, the PXU delegation attended the opening ceremony of the program, meeting and interacting with youth representatives from Vietnam, China, and many ASEAN countries. This was an opportunity for students to expand their networking, enhance their understanding of culture, education, and the spirit of cooperation among countries in the region.
Exploring the unique culture and heritage of Guizhou
As part of the program, the delegation visited the Guizhou University of Nationalities Cultural Museum, learning about the history, culture, and identity of the local ethnic groups.
In addition, PXU students and lecturers experienced many cultural activities such as enjoying Guizhou cuisine, exploring the ancient beauty of Qingyan Ancient Town, and learning about the process of beeswax painting and indigo dyeing on fabric at the traditional craft village in Longjing. These hands-on experiences helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the cultural values preserved and promoted through generations.
Expanding international integration and connection opportunities for PXU students
The ASEAN Youth Exchange Program not only provides meaningful learning and cultural experiences but also creates opportunities for PXU students to interact, learn, enhance their international integration skills, and broaden their understanding of countries in the region.
Participation in the program continues to affirm the internationalization of education direction of Phu Xuan University, while opening up many opportunities for cooperation, academic exchange, and global skill development for students in the future.
