As part of the preliminary survey, the contents focused on reviewing include self-assessment report, documentation system, and evidence for the external evaluation process.

In addition to reviewing related documents, both parties also exchanged and clarified necessary contents, agreed on the implementation plan, interview subjects, survey activities, as well as conditions to support the external evaluation team during the official survey.

Thorough preparation at this stage helps ensure that the subsequent evaluation process is implemented systematically, ensuring that all parties agree on the contents, methods, and implementation plans.

Quality accreditation is an opportunity for reflection and improvement

For Phu Xuan University, educational quality accreditation is not only seen as a requirement in quality assurance work. More importantly, it is an opportunity for the University to objectively assess the results achieved, identify areas that need further improvement, and establish appropriate improvement directions.

Through the process of self-assessment and external evaluation, training activities, governance, student services, and quality assurance conditions are systematically reviewed. From there, the University has additional grounds to adjust, refine, and enhance operational effectiveness.

Quality assurance is a continuous process

The spirit of transparency – accountability – continuous improvement is identified as an important part of quality assurance work at PXU.

Instead of viewing accreditation as a phase-based activity, the University aims to maintain regular quality assurance activities linked to daily training and governance operations.

This is also a way for the results from the evaluation process to be transformed into specific improvement activities, aiming for a learning environment that increasingly meets the needs of learners and societal demands.

Continuing to affirm commitment to learners and society

The preliminary survey for external evaluation of the educational institution Cycle 2 is a step in PXU's ongoing effort to improve the quality assurance system.

With serious preparation and an open-minded spirit, the University aims to receive objective perspectives from the external evaluation activity, thereby identifying more clearly the contents that need to be promoted and improved.

The ultimate goal of this process is not only to meet accreditation requirements but also to focus on training quality, learning environment, and support activities for learners – the factors that create the sustainable value of a higher education institution.
