HUMAN OF PXU | Nguyen Thi Tuong Van - K22 Major in English Language

"I am Tuong Van, a student majoring in English Language, class 22 at Phu Xuan University. I come from Phu Yen – a land of blue seas and golden sunshine, full of poetic charm. Choosing to leave my hometown to study in Hue was not an easy decision, but looking back on the journey so far, I know that I made the right choice.

Recalling the time before, I clearly understand the feeling of uncertainty when standing amidst countless choices: "What should I study? Which school is truly suitable for me?"

Those were the questions I pondered a lot. And today, I want to share my story, hoping to help you find your own answers.

From the initial awkwardness...

On the first day I set foot in Hue, I brought with me excitement and eagerness, but also a bit of anxiety – a girl from afar coming to a completely new land. However, as soon as I stepped into Phu Xuan University, I immediately felt a sense of familiarity. The cool green space, the sunlit classrooms, and above all, the dedicated teachers and close friends – all made me feel that this place is not just a university, but also a second home.

Choosing Phu Xuan – A wise decision

I chose Phu Xuan University not only for the quality of teaching but also because it gives me a friendly, close-knit feeling and is full of opportunities for personal development. The days of racing against deadlines with friends, the vibrant extracurricular activities, the enthusiastic group discussions, or simply the times we laughed together after class – all have made my student life meaningful and memorable. Here, I not only gain knowledge but also grow every day.

Hue – A place worth loving

From a girl from distant Phu Yen, I have gradually come to love and bond with Hue. Not as noisy and hurried as big cities, Hue possesses a unique beauty: peaceful, profound, and full of poetry. Those afternoons strolling along the gentle Huong River, watching the sunset dye the sky purple, I suddenly realize that Hue has become a part of my youth.

To the 12th-grade students

You are standing at an important turning point in your life, and I understand that feeling well. Listen to your heart, bravely choose, and fully commit to that decision. When you find a suitable place, you will have truly memorable years of youth!
