HUMAN OF PXU | Ha Van Chuyen – K21 Major in Chinese Language

The journey to PXUni has been filled with concerns and challenges. Five years ago, I chose to study abroad at Yunnan University in China. But then the COVID-19 pandemic hit 🌍, forcing me to return to Vietnam after just 3 months of studying. My Chinese was not strong, self-study was difficult, and sometimes I had to face criticism and doubts from others. The fear about the future, about not having a degree, made me ponder a lot about the path ahead.

During that time, I worked in industrial zones in the North, but the income was only enough to cover living expenses. One day, I suddenly realized I could not continue like this; I needed to grow, to rise 🌱. After a month of thinking, I decided to seek a new path, and that was when I discovered PXUni through the university's Facebook page. Choosing PXUni as my second home changed my life 💡. Deciding to study Chinese at PXU was a continuation of my unfinished dream. Although I faced difficulties with pronunciation and communication, I persevered and grew to love this language more and more 📚.

Studying Chinese is not easy, but I have overcome all prejudices and challenges 💪. The more I learn, the more I love this language. I have participated in many activities of the PXUni Youth Union 🏅, from blood donation ❤️, Chinese character writing competitions, to programs like Green Summer and Supporting Exam Season. These activities not only helped me develop personally but also provided me with valuable experiences as a student 🌈.

From a shy and timid person, I have become bolder and more confident in expressing myself 🌟, unafraid to voice my opinions in front of others. PXUni has given me a sense of a second home 🏡, where teachers are always dedicated, listen, and support me in every difficulty. Here, I not only found knowledge but also found connection, affection 💕, and opportunities to improve myself every day.

Phu Xuan is not only the starting point for a new journey 🚀, but also where I truly grew, became confident, and affirmed my self-worth 🎯.
