Principles for implementing the exchange program
Selection and quantity: Both institutions will accept selected students and staff. The specific number will be agreed upon and decided by both parties.
Accommodation: Each institution is responsible for arranging accommodation in the school's dormitory or equivalent forms for the exchange personnel/students from the other party.
Coordinator: Each party will appoint a suitable coordinator to maintain close communication, lead the program to success, and handle emergencies if any arise.

Student reception: Party A agrees to receive students sent by Party B to study Chinese language courses for one academic year (including 2 semesters, from 36 - 40 credits).
Direct implementing units: International Culture Education Institute (Party A) and Chinese Language Department (Party B).
Recognition of results: Both parties recognize the credits for the courses that students have completed. After completing the course, Party A will issue a transcript and a certificate of completion for the students.

Both parties agree to promote academic and scientific cooperation and implement study abroad programs, student exchanges, and staff exchanges through activities:

Exchange of staff / Lecturers
Duration: Short-term visits for teaching, research, or management tasks usually last from 1 to 4 weeks (may be longer if there is a separate agreement).
Costs: The sending institution (home institution) will continue to pay full salary for the staff and be responsible for travel expenses (airfare). Accommodation and living expenses in the host country will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Support: The receiving institution will approve the program, arrange workspace, grant access to library/utilities, and assist in finding accommodation.
Visiting Student Program
Quantity: YSU agrees to accept a maximum of 10 students from PXU each year to study at the English Language Institute for up to 12 months under the J1 visa.
Conditions: Students should have completed at least 1 year of study at PXU and meet the English proficiency requirement through the Duolingo English Test (DET) with scores ranging from 70 - 85 depending on the level of study or to participate in credit-earning specialized courses.

Main cooperation objectives
Educational partnership cooperation: Establishing a partnership that demonstrates both institutions' commitment to international education for students.
Providing American programs and curricula: Allowing PXU to have academic affiliation to offer courses designed in collaboration with KU; PXU has full access to KU's content and curriculum in Vietnam.
Issuing American degrees and credits: After approval from the SACSCOC accrediting organization, KU will work with PXU to offer undergraduate academic courses from the United States in Thua Thien Hue province and other provinces in Vietnam where PXU's facilities are licensed by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).
Teaching: PXU will provide teaching services, specifically American undergraduate courses, as part of KU's programs.
